Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: 19 May 2026 These Terms & Conditions apply to all work carried out by Structural Projects North West (“SPNW”, “we”, “our”, “us”). By accepting a quotation, paying a deposit, or instructing us to begin work, you agree to the following terms. 1. Quotations All quotations provided by SPNW are: Valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise Based on the information available at the time of quoting Subject to change if additional work, hidden issues, or changes to the scope arise Quotes do not include unforeseen structural issues, asbestos removal, utility diversions, or additional remedial works unless specifically stated. 2. Deposits & Payments A deposit may be required before works are scheduled. Payment terms are typically: Deposit payment prior to commencement Stage payments where applicable Final balance due immediately upon completion unless otherwise agreed in writing Late payments may result in delays, suspension of work, or additional charges. SPNW reserves the right to charge interest on overdue invoices in line with UK legislation. 3. Scope of Work SPNW will carry out the agreed works outlined in the quotation or written agreement. Any additional work requested outside of the agreed scope may incur extra charges and timeline adjustments. Verbal requests or changes made during the project may also be chargeable. 4. Structural Calculations & Building Control Where required: Structural calculations must be provided by a qualified structural engineer Building Control approval is the responsibility of the homeowner unless agreed otherwise in writing SPNW is not responsible for delays caused by third-party engineers, inspectors, suppliers, or local authorities
5. Access & Site Conditions The customer agrees to provide: Safe and reasonable access to the property Adequate working space Access to electricity and water where necessary Clear access to the work area SPNW reserves the right to pause or delay works if site conditions are unsafe or unsuitable. 6. Customer Responsibilities The customer is responsible for: Removing furniture, valuables, and fragile items from work areas Ensuring pets and children are kept away from active work zones Informing SPNW of any known hazards, asbestos, or hidden structural concerns SPNW is not liable for damage to items left within active working areas. 7. Delays & Timescales Estimated start dates and project durations are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to: Weather conditions Supplier shortages Hidden structural issues Customer delays or changes Building Control or engineering delays SPNW will communicate any major delays as soon as reasonably possible. 8. Waste Removal & Cleanliness Unless stated otherwise, quotations include reasonable site clean-up related to the agreed works. Large-scale waste removal, skip hire, or specialist disposal may incur additional charges if not included in the original quote. 9. Cancellation If the customer cancels after accepting a quotation or after materials have been ordered, SPNW reserves the right to charge for: Time already allocated Materials purchased Administrative costs Any completed work Deposits may be non-refundable once scheduling or material ordering has taken place. 10. Liability SPNW holds appropriate insurance for the works carried out. We are not liable for: Pre-existing defects or structural weaknesses Delays outside of our control Indirect or consequential losses Issues arising from third-party contractors not appointed by us
11. Warranty SPNW will rectify workmanship issues reported within a reasonable period after completion, subject to inspection. This does not cover: General wear and tear Cracking caused by natural settlement Issues caused by third-party works or poor maintenance
12. Photography & Marketing SPNW may take photographs or videos of completed projects for marketing purposes unless the customer requests otherwise in writing. No personal or sensitive information will be shared publicly. 13. Governing Law These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. 14.
